I came to this nail salon out of the blue while visiting Hood River. In Cali, I had my nails done for my birthday, less than a week ago and they were horrible! Everything I asked for, I got exactly the opposite. When I showed my hands to Anna, here at Studio Hair & Nails, and asked her to help me, she very clearly knew why I needed her help. And is pleasant to talk with, asked every step of the way if she was on target as to what I had been hoping for, and finished my nails beautifully! I couldn't have asked for a more professional nail technician to have completed my request for me. If I could give 10 stars I would, both to the studio and to Anna, but most especially to Anna, as she is wonderful both as a beautiful young lady and as a skilled nail technician. Last two times I've gotten gel pedicures here I've left bleeding. First an accidental cut of my skin when trimming but the attendant readily managed and I understand accidents happen. Now, this time the guy sanding my nails kept sanding my skin instead. I pointed it out that it was bleeding and tender when it happened and he did nothing. Now my toes hurt and I'm wearing bandaids after my pedicure instead of enjoying new color and pampering. Posting photo from the next day so others can see the damage done. After years visiting this location it might be time to move on...

A year or so ago I went here with my mom and got some simple gel nails, I liked them at the time. I went back just a few days ago to get a pedi and this (in my opinion) simple design with a hibiscus flower (first pic), and got these. I’m sorry, but it doesn’t even look like the picture! The “french tips” if you can even call it that are way to thick and uneven, and so gloppy! The one on my right thumb is lopsided and has these ugly rough edges, despite her attempting to clean them all up. My nail tech completely disregarded the design I asked for and gave me a totally different flower than in the pic, and to make it worse, the flowers on each hand don’t even match. I never asked for that little gold center, but she just did it anyway. I don’t feel like this was even that hard of a design, and if she had doubts, the woman doing my nails should’ve told me! I would’ve understood if she wasn’t used to a flower to that detail, but she rushed through it and gave me these as a result. Some advice: the pedis are pretty good, the nails…not so much.

They are always so friendly! Service is amazing 🤩 and my nails are always to perfection! Love this place 🥰 they pay close attention to detail, very clean, and very reasonably priced!
